Very good, but not ultimate

"Herrewghe gives an very good performance, but it is not entirely consistent. The opening chorus is totally stunning, the orchestral playing is beyond criticism and Ponseele's oboe playing sets a new standard, but the solo vocal parts are not very strong. Schlick is a bit weak here. In the end, very good (mainly for the instrumental part), but not 5 stars."
