Split CD from Absinthe Rose and Humanwine, two great Boston based bands for the fans of acoustic, folk, gypsy and or punk. Absinthe Rose is the brainchild of guitarist/singer/songwriter Kimbo Rose. Originally based out of the Medford / Ashland Oregon area Absinthe Rose was formed in 2008 as a solo acoustic project! The music has many influences and elements that can be shaped accordingly to the collective of musicians involved and was soon accompanied by friends and fellow musicians Chari on Washboard, Ash on Violin, and Leah on Saw! The Creators of Humanwine, Holly Brewer and M@ (mat) McNiss, are the composers/songwriters of all of the material. To separate the lives of Brewer & McNiss would be difficult considering they have been playing 'muzik' together for 8 years, released 4 albums, played hundred of concerts, toured Nationally and organize their own booking and promotion for all Humanwine. The 'Muzik' of Humanwine is fluid and changing with each line up.
