Excellent album from the greatest melodic rock band I know.

"Spitz, for those who don't know, is a melodic rock quartet from Japan, who've been around since 1989. Singer/songwriter Kusano Masamune is possessed not only of an amazing, clear, pure voice able to convey such complex feelings as nostalgia and poignancy, but also a gift for writing melodies that can bring tears to the eyes of a grown man. The songwriting of this band is simply amazing. This, their latest effort, is different in sound from the last six or so albums. It's a bit harder-edged, but still retains the purity and beauty well known to Spitz fans. This album in particular is somewhat comparable to early Radiohead. Particularly good tracks are Hayabusa, Amai Te, Hotaru, and the amazing Juteemu (Je T'aime), a love song consisting only of the purity of Kusano's voice, acoustic guitar, and electric violin. If you can't understand japanese, just sit back and let the melodies roll over you. This band deserves recognition. Also good is "Recycle", their greatest hits album, and "KaChouFuuGetsu", a b-sides and indies collection."

"I writing this review because it's unthinkable to have the
chance to appreciate Spitz and not do it.Spitz's music has the kind of positive energy that really
uplifts your spirit. And even though some of their songs are
achingly sad, they don't resonate despair, just beauty.Ah..just buy it, listen to the vocal, the energy of the electric guitar. I promise you, you'll appreciate them."

"Spitz, in my opinion, is one of best bands in Japan but quite overlooked by the people. I own about 10 of their albums but they have the ability to always have a new beat or rhythm to their music and never fail to impress me. Alot of their lyrics don't make sense, but Kusano Masamune is clearly a romantic who loves to write about stars and rainbows and flowers. My favorite in Hayabusa is Jute-mu? a cute song where a guy can't express his love well and can only say I love you in French. Great album, but I wish Amazon had the rest, like the best I think is Mikatsuki Rock, with some of the best songs I have ever heard from Spitz."
