This new release features Native American flutes, solo and in various combinations with nature sounds (thunderstorm, rain, wolves, eagles, etc.) as well as in harmony with other instruments, performed by Jessita Reyes and Alice Gomez. Jessita Reyes has been known to fans of contemporary Native American flute music since her early 1990s debut, Deer Dancer. She is particularly known in the healing community because of earlier releases such as Healers of the Flute. She primarily focuses on solo Native American flute, but has also used the flute with a variety of Asian instruments. Alice Gomez has been one of the most consistent Native American flute artists over the past three decades. With more than ten releases to her credit, she has been a pioneer in using the Native American flute together with other instruments. Drawing upon her multicultural heritage to create her unique recordings, she also plays guitar, synthesizer, percussion, and vocal chants.
