"This album is so great that I'm equal parts surprised and troubled that there are not more reviews of it. Moonwink is a really catchy album and you'd have a hard time finding a singular comparison. I know they've covered Tommy James and the Shondels, but Spinto Band isn't some throwback group. Also, the songs are really layered, which you wouldn't think from first sight. Basically, this is inventive pop music and you ought to give it a try. I found it very refreshing!"

"An unrelenting collection of wimpy, quirky pop brilliance. There's no let up on "Moonwink" for balladry on this 11 song collection from this punchy Delaware septet. They employ almost every chord change they can into their little 3 minute pop gems, all the while spewing lyrics so rapidly to the point of exhaustion. They remind me of a saner Of Montreal. The same manic energy they display live onstage is all there for your listening pleasure on "Moonwink". Enjoy!"
