"The Spice Girls have debuted in the music industry with this wicked sounding single "Wannabe" which has sat at #1 in the UK for 7 weeks. The beat is a little bit too addictive and the sales have shown exactly what people thought of the single. Let's have a synopsis, shall we?1) WANNABE (RADIO EDIT)- Brilliant, but simple, blend of pop and rap. The lyrics are very easy and the girls have great voices to display. It's not a very long song, as it does not top even the 3 minute mark. This song got massive amounts of air play back in 96 and 97 and this is probably the girls' most memorable hit.2) BUMPER TO BUMPER- The exclusive B-Side of this single which is awesome. I don't understand why it didn't make it to the album. It is a great pop song with a touch of R&B. It's a definite feel-good song. Although it didn't make it to the album, it was perfect for the single.3) WANNABE (VOCAL SLAM)- This remix of Wannabe is an upbeat, techno-like mix. It's okay to listen to, but it's not a dance song at all. It's fast listening, which makes it sort of hard to like. On a perfect single, this mix would have been either a club mix or something in that order.This single is absolutely awesome and should definitely be considered for picking up if you're a fan of pop/rap or if you are a big fan of the song "Wannabe.""
