A pop and slap gem lost in the ghetto...

"If you have a soft spot for early 90's rap-metal, this is a good time...imagine a bunch of black dudes (cred!) from the hood going into the studio and jamming on Tools' instruments circa "Undertow", and you got an idea. If you have no sense of humor and loathe rap-metal, stay far away. I was all over this type of s^%t back in tha day, yet I never heard of these guys ONCE. I just stumbled upon it in a bin for 2 bucks. Released in 94' on Zoo and produced by Sylvia Massey, I had to check it out...what a hoot. Honestly this is pretty mediocre stuff (yet it does shine at times, tasty bass pops and guitar solos peek here and there, but the dude on the mic is kinda weak), but it gets 5 stars for being such a blast from the past. Pop! Slap!"
