Space Cadet rocks

(4 out of 5 stars)
"Space Cadet's music lies somewhere between the gutiar laden heaviness of bands like early STP combined with the new wave pop sensibilities of bands such as the Rentals or the Cars. The album contains tracks recorded over the span of a couple of years and takes the listener from sugar coated pop/metal songs such as "Raygun" and "Splinter" to gut wrenching dirges such as "Chemical" and "Stained". The CD is good, but the band is much more dynamic live. If you are in Texas, they will probably be in your area soon. Go check them out because they will rock your bowels loose. Space Cadet is on the same label responsible for other popular Texas-based acts such as Bowling for Soup, Valve, and The Adventures of Jet, all good bands that are also available on amazon.com."
