Drums, Sex and Dance sees Souvenir evolving from the most '80s-oriented aspects of 64 to a palette of sounds which are more punchy and contemporary. The guitars are grittier, the analog synth sounds rawer, and the beats trancier and more upbeat. The result is an exciting cocktail of New Rave and '00s Electro with Punk Rock energy, Dance Music spirit and twangy guitars.
