"Southern [...] has managed to pull a feat of magic many bands try - but fail miserably. They sound so so 70's - yet - they still manage to sound like individuals. I felt like I was flipping through my LP's and there was Southern [...] sandwiched between Grand Funk and Foghat. The songwriting is great, every one a winner. The sound - let's just say you can smell the tubes smokin' along with the incense. So warm, so inviting, so 70's. If you are like me and thought the 70's the greatest, most prolific period for music, then this is your album. If you like lead guitar, and lots of it, this is your album. Go on, do the time warp..."
