Splendid Spanish Studies for Guitar

"If early music lessons have caused you to view "studies" or "exercises" with disdain, a CD like this one could come as a real eye-opener. These compositions by Sor, Aguado, and Tarrega show that the concept of a beautiful teaching work is not an oxymoron, but, rather, can and does constitute beautiful solo guitar performances."

"Norbert's playing is without doubt breathtaking in every sense. For all those classical guitar lovers out there, I would recommended buying this CD. The phrasing, dynamics, tonal variation and articulation are very well conveyed in all his pieces. For those studying the Segovia edition of the Sor studies and Tarrega's concert pieces suchas Recuerdos Alhmabra, this would be extremely beneficial."
