"With her latest release Sophie Zelmani excels at what she does best: beautiful songs. Zelmani has a lovely gentle voice that I have adored on her past albums. This album is something more. It has a stronger intimate feeling to it than her past releases. This record feels very personal.

The hooks are just right for the timid fish. There's nothing too strong on this album on the first few listens. After a few listens the album draws its listener in. The world I was drawn into was a beautiful one. There's extraordinary moments when the acoustic guitar blends perfectly into a quick violin stroke and then back into Zelmani's beautiful voice. She cuts her heart open for you on every track and gently lets you hear the blood flow.

I'm not going to say that it's the most unique thing out there because everything sounds like something else. But, if Sophie Zelmani has ever touched your soul in the past than this album will caress your soul and leave you feeling refreshed. It's Zelmani at her best."

"Absolutely love this CD. Lyrics and music set a beautiful mood, slightly sad and melancholy but 'just right' for me. Highly recommended."
