"If you like western music and if you like gospel music, this combination is absolutely perfect. It's one I have kept on the stereo for over a year and never tire of it. The boys have flawless harmony melded with beautiful voices. Dale Evans Rogers guests on one cut, "In the Sweet By & By". You can hear the boys' reverance for her in their voices as they sing back up. The mellow blending is reminiscent of the Sons of the Pioneers but this three part harmony of two brothers plus one son has its own warm sound. Karen in California"

"This is a wonderful "Cowboy" rendition of some of the best loved hymns and gospel songs. Our family played it over and over the afternoon it arrived."

"I bought this CD on a general recommendation for Sons ...The Gospel Trails title didn't hit home (duh), so this was my first introduction to Sons ... Joaquin AND more significantly to the Country Gospel genre. Absolutely loved it. I'll Fly Away is an especially great toe-tapper. Since then, I've been looking for other Cowboy/Country Gospel (and I loved the O Brother soundtrack).Six cheers for serendipity."

"I read once where the Hannah brothers were trained by their father to enunciate lyrics very clearly in such a way that no
syllable is lost. This method is critical to Gospel Music's interpretation. They made their Daddy proud on this one. I
am sure they've made their sho-nuff father (Our God) very pleased
as well. They treat each song with such reverence and respect which makes you want to really listen to every word. The way
Gospel Music was meant to be sung. The way Gospel Music was meant to be heard. I hope they do another one very soon.
It's perfect for everyone. Like the perfect Ice Cream Sunday
on Sunday with whip cream and cherry on top. Very, Very pleasing to the senses and the soul."
