"If you are a true fan of Sonny Stitt, then this is a must for your collection. He plays all alto on this one. This is an awesome showcase of Stitt's talent. If you liked Parker with strings, then I know you will appreciate this side. It was recorded in 1961 with the arrangements by Ralph Burns. Unlike Bird with strings, the orchestra's intonation is fabulous. Although Stitt is fantastic on Tenor as well, there is nothing like his beautiful tone and fluid technique on the alto. I encourage you to seek this one out. You won't be sorry."
