Disappointed Sonny Burgess Fan

"Lousy, that's the only way I can describe this LP. It starts off on a high note with an interesting rendition of "We Wanna Boogie". But it's all down hill after that. There are no hilights after the first track. On Sun Records Sonny had a unique sound. On this recording he's ripping off everyone from LLoyd Price to Elvis, Fats Domino, Larry Williams, and isn't as good as any of them. If you love Sonny's music, as I do, get the two CD set the Complete Sun Recordings 1956-59. That is a great CD set, despite leaving off four of Sonny's Sun Record recordings. Sorry, Sonny, mate, I love your music, but not this lame CD."
