"These Mendelssohn pieces are beautiful piano works. When Mendelssohn composed these pieces called Songs Without Words he wanted them to have a romantic description of different emotions. 24)C Major Op. 102 No.6
This is a wonderful cd for a great price and I listen to it often. The pianist Daniela Ruso plays these pieces at a slower tempo than other pianists I have heard, but I prefer these pieces played slower so you can hear the lyricism in the music. If you are someone looking for all of Mendelssohn's Songs without Words buy Vol. 1 also played by Daniela Ruso and you will have a complete set at an excellent price."
