"In Mendelssohn's time many other composers and people he knew thought the idea of songs wihout words was unattainable. If there were no words, there could be no song. Yet what Mendelssohn acheived is exactly what the title suggests. Music in its purest and simplest form with feeling, but without verbal words. Daniela Ruso plays these pieces with great sensitivity and I have never been disappointed with any cd I have ever purchased of her's. There are 24 tracks on this cd and the titles are as follows:
1)E Minor Op.19 No.1
2)A Minor Op.19 No.2
3)A Major Op.19 No.3 (Huntsman's Song)
