"This Edinburgh, Scotland band is arguably the best Alt-Country/Americana act the UK has to offer. Singer/Songwriter Dean Owens' well-crafted songs range from poingant ballads like "Born to Lose You" and "Missing you" to the intensity (almost psychedelic) of "On Fire." "Joseph Black" is a brilliant depiction of the dysfunctional family-next-door from your worst nightmare. Indie rock numbers like "Boomerang Boy" and "Is There a Dreamer Here" round out the album nicely. On the whole, it's Dean Owens' fresh songwriting and passionate, dynamic singing that will make you GLAD you bought this one."

"I first heard the felsons at Newcastle Arena where they were the support to the Mavericks. They transmit a real enthusiasm for the music which is so reminicent of the early sixties bands, although the music is country orientated it is hard to put a label on this band. One thing is certain both there albums glad and one step ahead of the posse are excellent and I can't recommend them highly enough. Just what you would expect from a band from Edinburgh, Live they are powerful and really enjoy what they do, the felsons are a band to watch out for.... GO OUT AND BUY THESE ALBUMS !!!"
