"I heard the single "Ingele" on satellite radio. When I heard the song I was thinking..."WHO IS THAT". As soon as I bought the CD, I played it twice. If you like the jazzy sound of Sade, check out Somi "Red Soil In My Eyes"."

"If you want to hear an extradonarily gifted singer with great material and wonderful emotion, this is it. I'm shocked that there are so few reviews of this CD. Somi is phenomenally talented and the musicians are great, too.

The songs generally have a nice, warm, jazzy feeling to them. About one-half of the songs are in English and the other half are in her native language. I typically prefer to listen only to songs in English because I want to understand the lyrics, but Somi sounds so good that it doesn't matter.

Hurry and get your ears on this CD."
