"I was never a fan of collabo albums because a big pile of dookie called The Firm album ruined it for me. But because I love Dead Prez, I decided to give this one a chance and was presently surprised. Stic Man as we know is one half of Dead Prez and Young Noble is part of the Outlawz. The album starts of with a good track which is called Runaway Slave. Young Black and Just Dont Give A.... goes in certified banger category. On How U Like That they give the oppressor a view of what would happen if they changed shoes. On the touching tribute to their sons, Daddy Loves You, both Stic Man and Young Noble give their young ones some gems to follow. Time is them giving tribute to those locked up. This album does have flaws. For instance their tribute to old school R&B called Soul Music is not necessarily bad but it's not as noteworthy as their other tracks. Another blemish is their ode to Cali weed called Kali4nya. The beat was wack and so were their lyrics and the skit that came before it was pointless. Bottom Line: Stic Man and Young Noble's Soldier 2 Soldier is not a wasted effort. They both shined on here, they dropped some gems in certain songs and the production(with the exception of Kali4nya) is pretty good. Standout Tracks: RUNAWAY SLAVE, YOUNG BLACK AND JUST DONT GIVE A..., HOW U LIKE THAT, DADDY LOVES YOU, TRYIN 2 MAKE A LIVIN, TIME and 4 LIFE(giving tribute to the women who hold them down)."
