"Better than The Chromatics but not as good as The Blood Brothers. If that doesn't help, think of Blood Brothers adapting their music so it would be more suitable in a Jazz club. Either way it's a pretty good album and worth a listen. Johnny's voice is as good as ever and really gets focal point with the mostly laid back instrumentals. *BONG!"

"I bought this album as a big fan of The Blood Brothers. I was worried at first that it would be some terrible knock off sounding cd, but I was wrong. Though it lacks the amazing fast paced drumming and powerful bass riffs of Burn Piano Island Burn, it definately has a flavor of its own. Instead it contains unique guitar riffs that just fit awesomely as well as the occasional vocal distortion. You still get that classic Blood brothers high pitched screetch with little less screaming which makes it easier to focus on the great music. All and all I think it is a good purchase and I enjoy the cd more each time I listen to it."

"I must admit it: it took me 3ish times to like this album. But once I did... I was sooo hooked. A very unique and fun album, I love every song on this album. I cant find a best song on this but some stand outs were Hunter Gatherer: The Saga Continues and Soiled Doves (I can spend a whole day chanting "Yeah! Yeah! Nanananana..."). Too bad they're done for because the world can use such great and unique bands."
