"While this is NOT an "Animated Storybook" with all the fluff and interaction, it is FAR more useful as a teaching tool, and really mimics the experience of reading a book...but with wonderful flexibility and a great price. Not only does it come with an audio tape, but the CD can play on a standard CD player, in addition to visually presenting the entire story visually on the computer. The story is told with a full character cast, along with excellent, quality narration. So far, I have not even let my students know that it contains narration and character voices, because we've been having so much fun reading it aloud in class using a computer projector!As a teacher, and was thrilled to see how my class of second graders embraced the experience, even though most of them have seen the movie...with all it's animation and sound. They were simply reading the content and seeing teh still pictures--yet they loved every minute of it, and complained when we ran out of time and had to stop in the middle of the story.My hope is that Disney will continue to produce these sets for ALL of their animated movie titles. If they do, you can bet I'll be snapping up every single one of them.

Great combination: CD, cassette and easy to read book

"We discovered this along with just a few other titles a couple of weeks ago while we were in America and have been searching for more titles ( eg. Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast etc. ) offering the same 3 components of cassette, CD and a thin bendable book on line since then - to no avail. This Snow White story is very very believable even the sound of Snow White's surprise at meeting the Prince for the first time is very realistic. My 3 year old daughter loves this one best and can listen to it again and again, with "The Little Mermaid" and "Lion King" next. It is much better to buy the set with all 3 together ie. book, cassette and CD as this provides you with the most flexibility - that of listening and/or more visual effects, although there are very limited titles currently to choose from. There are many more of these read along titles with just the cassette and the book. Please please please Disney, produce more of this same "3 combo" packs for the other stories SOON!!."
