"the other people on here really do NOT know what they are talking about. This is called best of Snoop Dogg but in reality it is actually a SECOND "greatest hits" compilation by him. The first "Snoop Doggy Dogg's Greatest Hits" covers all of the tracks that the other people are complaining about because they arent on here. The reason is because the other collection is for all the albums he released under the name "Snoop Doggy Dogg" such as Doggystyle, Tha Last Meal etc. This one however covers MUCH more of a timespan. It covers a total of 5 albums (no R&G songs) and they are all with the simple name of Snoop Dogg. If his old classics were also put on here it would pretty much make it pointless for the old collection to even exist.
So for the era that this cd covers... it does a damn good job. It sure picks the best songs off Top Dogg, Paid Tha Cost To Be Da Boss & the NWA Legacy 2. It even provides good songs off of Tha Game Is To Be Sold Not To Be Told in which every song is amazing. I would suggest if you want an overview of all of Snoop's work prior to R&G then you should buy BOTH of his greatest hits albums...
