(4 out of 5 stars)
"This is what Whitesnake should of sounded like. This is how they should play their songs now. I can only think of one song on this album that Whitesnake play live these days and that is "Walking in the Shadow of the blues".
This is your chance to listen to, what I call, the "real" Whitesnake live. Not the big haired, sqeeekin' guitar poprock they are doing now. This is the blues guitarist Moody and Marsden, and the alwys brilliant Murray on bass. Mr Lande, the vocalist, proves not only that he sounds like Mr Coverdale, but he can hit the high notes that Mr Coverdale today, only can dream of.
And the song list is amazing. Its only top songs here, and they play the old style!!
The only small drawback is the sound, and thats why I cant give it 5 stars.
Dont pay attention to the ignorant and silly review over this one.
They obviously cant have a clue on what this is a about.
Its about the mighty Whitesnake 1978 - 1982 legacy."
