"Garden of Eden is the 1999 release from Swedish melodic rockers Snakes in Paradise, whose sound is very reminiscent of a more melodic Whitesnake. Given their reptile-themed cover art and the fact that vocalist Stefan Berggren would go on to join Bernie Marsden and other ex-Whitesnake alum in the band Company of Snakes, that similarity is not surprising. Berggren's voice isn't as similar to David Coverdale as Jorn Lande's is, but it's clear that the Whitesnake founder was a major influence.
Garden of Eden is a laid back, very melodic rock album that should appeal to most fans of this style of music.
NOTE: The 13th track, Heart and Soul, is only available on the Japanese import version of Garden of Eden.
