"Don't fret over the guitar, just listen to the music. It's the songs, the lyrics, the vocals. Benois King is the real star in this band. He co-writes the songs, has one of the best set of blues pipes going. The lyrics are nearly always amusing, even funny. Consider the album title and you should get a hint. The title song snared me immediately on the first play of this disc. Check out the sample "She's It" and when you buy this CD, immediately play "Let Me Take Your Picture". The lonely guy just wants to be able to see his gal all day on the job, so he begs, "Let Me Take Your Picture"
And "Got You By the Tail" about the insurance salesman!! These guys really deserve space in the comedy section also.
And they're not all rock either.
On the "Texas Cadillac" album, try "TV Light" about the guy who's money is funny (hasn't got much) and can't take his lady out so they're going to have pizza & MD20/20, then make love by the TV Light.
This band is truly genius and deserve more of a following. Catch them live and they're as good or better than the album."

"I can't beleive no one loves this cd. The guitar work on this is intense. Of course, you must really like Stevie Ray style high notes intensity or you should pass. Listen to " you can't see for looking" and you will play this cd a thousand times!"

"If you like the BLUES texas style, you should own all of this mans CDs. Great guitar / great vocals ( no idea who'd complain about BNOIS distinctive voice ) and great songs. Great interplay between BNOIS and JOE's guitar creates a soound all their own. A great sense of humour runs throughout the CD. Great for parties as it's almost impossible to sit still when this is playing. If you like the BLUES or the GUITAR, BUY IT!!!!!!"
