"I love this song "I Need You Now", Smokie Norful's voice is beautiful, always, but, he had put TOO much effort when he song in this live version.I don't know, to me, it somehow lost its magical attraction and the touching elements. Kind of Gospel version of Christina Anquilia. Through I still like it, I have to admit the original mirical somehow disappeared and I can not play it all day as I played the album version."

"I first listened to Smokie on the UNCF Evening of Stars. This man sung this one song "I Need You Know" so majestically that it made me an atheist want to go to church. He brought tears to my eyes because it has been so long since a gospel song affected me so deeply. He voice is blessed. You gotta hear it."
