Obscure Wonderful Smiths Song

"Any Smiths fan should include the song "Jeane" in his or her collection. I actually recorded this song onto cassette tape back in the mid-1980s from a friend who had a vinyl 45 of this song. Jeane was the "B-side" (remember those?) to the "This Charming Man" single. "This Charming Man" is of course one of the many phenomenal and well known songs the Smiths produced and is widely available as part of other released work. There are a very small number of songs produced by the Smiths that were only released as B-sides to vinyl 45s. Jeane is the best of these. Others include: "Work is a four letter word" and "I keep mine hidden". Most of the B-sides were picked up on Louder Than Bombs, but some - like Jeane - were overlooked. I had not realized that this song was ever picked up on CD until now- currently listed as out of stock. I have been a die-hard Smiths since 1985 and believe this song should really be included in the collection of any devout fan."
Not the same CD as in the other review

"The CD in this offer has seven different remixes of "This Charming Man" plus "Wonderful Woman". "Jeane" and "Accept Yourself" are not on this CD. They are on the other version of this release which is not offered here. For the record, the remixes are nice for collectors, but not essential for casual listeners."
