"Perfect is a really good song. James' song "Summer" is good, and for the first time ever in Smashing Pumpkin remix history, the "Daphne Descends" remix is good. Get it! D'arcy's husband made the remix. Of course it's good!"

"The first single off of their 1998 epic Adore, Perfect is one of the poppiest songs the Pumpkins have ever written. Billy Corgan's vocal wails and swirls through the ambient drumscapes set by the band in Jimmy Chamberlain's departure. The Daphne Descends remix is one of the best I've heard, ever. Perfect has a good guitar line, and the bass pounds throughout the song. Perfect. Also check out Foo Fighters, My Bloody Valentine, and Nirvana."
