Not quite "Definitive", but definitely worth it!

"An excellent collection from the Small Faces mind blowing catalog, but it concentrates mostly on the latter part of their recording career, leaving out some of their more sizzling instrumentals and mod rave ups. From the selections here, you can definitely trace the evolution of the later arena rock sounds of Led Zepplin and Steve Marriot's Humble Pie recordings. Included on disk 2 is an entire side of Ogden's Gone Nut Flake, complete with the cockney fairy tale interludes between songs...one of the first successful concept albulms to be sure! A must for those just discovering the Small Faces and for anyone interested in the evolution of the British Invasion sound into the late sixties."
