CD Reviews

Slough Feg are still the best
Robert D. Watson | www.green-machine.info | 12/16/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Slough Feg is the best band on the planet. Even though this is their worst album, it's still better than any other non-slough feg album you own.

I think that there are definitely some weak parts on this album...Sea Wolf is an acoustic song that doesn't really fit with the rest of the album, and the title track is not very memorable. Street Jammer is a decent remake of a terrible song, and should hae been left off the album. The drumming is well done, but not heard well in production.

Overall though, this is the same Slough Feg you've come to know and love. Kooky songs which have a slightly folkish vibe, and are heavy hitting enough to keep any metal fan interested. As the album goes on it gets better and better (Street Jammer aside), and it's really quite unique. You won't find too many other bands with the same style as Slough Feg. Highly recommended, but pick up their other albums first."
