I would describe his style as smooth and hip with one part Michael Franks (minus the sleepiness), a helping of Donald Fagen (except Slim Man CAN sing) and a dash of Boz Scaggs' coolness (need i say more). Don't sleep on this CD...I first heard it on college radio in St. Louis and searched coast-to-coast until I found it in Atlanta. Well worth the effort."
