CD ReviewsAll from a bass? starzero | chicago, il | 08/10/2005 (4 out of 5 stars) "in some ways, this recording is like solo mike patton--you won't believe what can be done with this instrument. sverrisson takes his bass, makes all sorts of non-bass noises with it, then pieces together ambient soundscapes detailed enough to spend time listening. i can't say it has loads of melodies, but i don't think that's the point. this is background music, for when it rains and you can't think of anything to do."
