"I happened to discover Skinless while aimlessly wandering the internet in search of new heavy music. I was totally blown away by the samples I heard and went to purchase the album immediately. This album is shockingly, assaultingly good! The song writing and production are top-notch. The songs are incredibly heavy and brutal. The heaviness of this album is achieved through creative and dark riffing, stellar drumming, and great vocals. Whereas some death metal bands rely on speed and technicality to achieve their "dark" and "evil" sounds, Skinless pulls it off by playing at a slightly slower, brooding tempo, occasionally unleashing some hyperblast. Words alone cannot express how fantastic this album is. You need to hear it for yourself and discover some of the best death metal in recent years. Skinless rules!"

"An immensly amazing album put out by Deathmetal band Skinless. This is, by far, their heaviest album to date. I got into these guys because I heard that the drummer from Origin, who by the way are much heavier and faster than Skinless, was playing in Skinless I had to check it out, and I'll say that I'm not dissappointed. Amazing song structures, awesome drumming, great riffs, and intelligent lyrics make this CD a worthwhile investment, and will be a gem in your collection of the genre that is Brutal Deathmetal. Check em out."

"This is the 1st Skinless CD that I have purchased and I must say that I am very impressed. The guitar and druming on this CD are bone-crushing, some of the best that I have heard on a death metal CD. This is especially true on track 6, Battle Perpetual Will, which has some of the most awesome changes and low-end guitar riffing that you will here. All of the songs are excellent and will be aprreciated by metal fans like me who love death metal guitar as mean and heavy as it can get. If you like this sort of thing I also recommend Grave's "Back from the Grave", Cannibal Corpses's "Gore Obsessed", and Crptopsy "None so Vile"."
Excellent!!

"Well Skinless are back and boy does this cd crush. They have went for a much cleaner sound and in doing so have sacrificed some of their brutality. This is not to say that the cd is not heavy. By God it's extremely heavy. Songs like the title track and 'Escalate Discord' will have you throwing your furniture around the house. The opening track has Sherwood doing some Fear Factory vocals at one point. It's very subtle and effective. My only gripes is the snare gets lost in some of the blast and the cd cover. Oh my word the cover is probably one of the worst in Death Metal history. It looks like a 3rd grader constructed it. It is laughable and really quite atrocious. The guy w/the metal wings looks like Mr. Burns, from the Simpsons. With such a killer album name they could have done alot better. Other then that get the cd and blast it to annoy your pesky neighbors!!"

"This album was heavy as hell and is a great improvement for Skinless. Although Skinless's first 2 CDs are very brutal and are both amazing works of death metal, Skinless found a way to improve their already amazing sound. If you like breakdowns in your death metal then this album will be like a dream for you. This album has brutal breakdowns like crazy and some of the best death metal vocals out there today. I would say that if you want a good taste of what bands are dominating death metal in 2003 then I would pick up this album and the new Dying Fetus. These two bands are both dominating modern death metal. I'm gonna check both bands out on tour together in August and I am confident they will be utterly amazing. The best songs on this CD are "From Sacrifice to Survival" and "Miscreant"."
