Kick Ass!

"As I have come to expect, Skindred has put out another awesome album. Although it is shorter at 8 tracks, this CD rocks from top to bottom. And at $[...] to download the whole thing- What a deal! Put this in your player and bounce while you sing along. Also, I'm glad to see that they are getting some much deserved recognition for their live show. Not only is the music tight and on point at their shows, Benji adds another element of entertainment with his sarcasm and wit. If you are up front at one of their shows, be prepared to interact as Benji is not afraid to mix it up with anyone. If you are new to Skindred but enjoy infectiously groovy heavy music and are open to a fresh twist on the ordinary heavy music that you've been hearing for years, buy it. You won't regret it."
Short but sweet all the way through.

"I've been a fan of Skindred for a while now; and both of their previous albums (Babylon and Roots Rock Riot) got me absolutely crazy over the band. This one is no different. I didn't really get into it on the first listen but now I can say I love this album."
Finally, they're back

"One of the most original bands on the planet. If it were physically possible, my old Skindred cds would have worn out by now waiting for Shark Bites to come out. Took a couple spins to fall in love with this disc - We NEED more songs skindred! We know you have a lot more, unleash them - we are hungry!"
Just wasn't up to their standard

"I love this group...their unique style, and all out energy have always been a favorite of mine. But, this cd seemed to disappoint me. Just not "fresh" enough for me compared to their other cds. Like the cover of Electric Ave. though. That's about it however...."
Wondering where the rest is

"The first two Skindred records for me are miracles: taking the harder Rap/Rock sort of concept into a Reggae style with a very modern hard sound, great use of melody and wild climax type songs. This one they just sort of did the same but without the highlight tracks of the other two albums. The 'Electric Avenue' cover is a clear standout and points towards what they are capable of but there is nothing here that really excited me on what I was my most anticipated album for the year.
It's good in it's own right: brilliant band and the lead singer is incredible, just they have done far better before...
With only 8 tracks is almost like they left off something.
