"Skepticism return with their 2nd full-length offering, "Lead and Aether", creating what I can only describe as "Ethereal Doom". To sum up this recording with one word: "Epic". Like "Stormcrowfleet", this album is drenched in melancholically beautiful atmospheres. It is an audio guide to accompany you into realms long forgotten. "Lead and Aether" rekindles a period when lords sat proudly in their aging halls. Where high towers were lost in the mist; amongst great, vast forests. "Lead and Aether" will transport you to an era when magic, mystery, and gloom permeated this world; a world as we shall never know it."
