"while not as groundbreaking as SEVERE EXPOSURE, as funny as THE PIGEON IS THE MOST POPULAR BIRD, or as apocalyptically mindblowing as LAW OF RUINS, 6FS's PARANORMALIZED does contain some damn good and worthwhile material, and whilst it may not be their very best record, the thing to remember here is that EVERYTHING by 6FS is worth owning and is a prime example of what one of the last great American bands could prove themselves capable of doing. true, many of the tracks sound like re-writes of most of SEVERE EXPOSURE, but there are five choice slabs from the Providence men worthy of your time, money, and intelligence: "Greatest Hit" and "Perico" are classic 6FS rock and roll that pull no punches and make no excues; "Coke & Mirrors", which is a pre-cursor to the more danceable side of LAW OF RUINS with a sense of humour; "The Great Depression" which is a pre-cursor to the darker and more highly strung side of LAW OF RUINS; and lastly "Slave Traitor", which is well worth the price of admission here and one of the best things 6FS EVER did. Funny and scary, nasty and sad, this is a one of a kind track from this one of a kind band. when they would play this one live, you could literally hear the walls sweat and see the stage bleed from their total sonic/mental assault. so brothers and sisters, even if you don't like Fear Factory or Deicide, check this one out and you will NOT be disappointed."
