"Solid work but maybe I'm not familiar with the songs because it didn't impress as much as previous work. Still rocks though!"
Six Feet Under knows how to cover the classics

"it is so awesome to hear Six Feet Under do songs that I have heard and songs that I have not heard before. they do a good job on them. however, it is humorous to hear Chris Barnes do "Frayed Ends of Sanity" by Metallica in a death growl. I sometimes think about the hurdles that Six Feet Under has to clear when contacting the agents of the bands who performed the songs that Six Feet Under is covering. however, Six Feet Under does a good and funny job covering them. I think the rhythm of song no. 2, entitled "Metal on Metal", which was originally performed by Anvil, is awesome. I like the songs "Psychotherapy" by the Ramones, and "Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck" by Prong too, but personally, they did a good job on these songs, occasionally punctuated with Chris doing a pig squeal now and then. I think the album would have been more complete with a Megadeth tune as well, but they did a swell job with what they covered on this album."
And yet another

"Critics will bash this album! However, coming from a death metal fan perspective, its great fun! Sure Chris Barnes and Crew may not be suited for some of these tracks, but that is what makes the album all the more interesting! Stand out tracks include "Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck" orginally by Prong, and "Frayed Ends of Sanity" originally by Metallica. Pick it up and enjoy!"
SFU's best cover album yet!!!

"Six Feet Under (SFU) is one of those bands that can really blow you away with their heavy doom/death metal riffs but sometimes they can just be dull & lifeless...in other words you don't know which SFU you are going to get! Well here we are with SFU's latest offering 'Graveyard Classics III' & it is the SFU that the fans love! As fans of the band know they have put out 2 other previous cover albums & funny thing is I think they have more of a knack sometimes for doing the cover albums over their own material! I've said this time & time again but CONSISTENCY is very important for bands if they are going to keep their fans in the long run & if SFU continue this up & down trend I can't really see how long they will last compared to say lead singer Barnes former band Cannibal Corpse which pretty much puts out the same formulaic album but yet makes each album stand out. Out of the 3 cover albums I would say that this one is easily the heaviest one yet, covering bands such as Merciful Fate, Metallica, Anvil, & Slayer..& even some on the "funner" side such as Twisted Sister & Van Halen. Each track really gets you pumped on this one & trust me you will want to blast this thing at maximum volume! Buy this!!"
