"This early work of Lisa Thiel only hints at the wonderful songs she's written and sung since. Not the best of investments of either your time or your money. Try Lady of the Lake or Journey to the Goddess instead."
A soft, rich and spiritual album

"I'll never forget the first night I heard this album. I had just bought it and slipped it into my car stereo, and I was driving through the city in the rain. It was so beautiful, it was like I'd been transported to a rain forest. Lisa Thiel has a silky, soothing voice and sings spiritual songs focused on the Goddess. In this album, she teams up with Ani Williams who has a lighter, crisper voice, and together, they make an album with an almost Native American feel to it. There are soft, haunting flutes, sounds of nature and gentle rain, and of course - beautiful, soothing, enlightening songs. Some of them are also contained on Lisa's other albums, like the song "Rainbow Woman" and the "Giveaway Song". But the versions here are slightly different. And there are PLENTY of originals. It has a very long playing time. And the whole album is a soothing, moving experience that makes you feel like you've visited some place very sacred. I consider this gentle album to be one of the highlights of my collection."
Joy!
