"If you enjoy this remix comp, be sure to pick up the re-issue versions of the classic Single Gun Theory albums, which contain bonus tracks taken from the band's singles and EPs.EXORCISE THIS WASTELAND (1987), for example, has additional versions of "Open the Skies" and the title track. This is the album that got SGT signed to the Nettwerk label, after Tom Ellard of the band Severed Heads brought them to the label's attention.LIKE STARS IN MY HANDS (1991), includes extended versions of "Surrender" and "From a Million Miles," plus the excellent Radio Baghdad remix of "Words Written Backwards" which I used to play on college radio back in the early 90's. By the way, I believe the full title of the album is MILLIONS LIKE STARS IN MY HANDS, DAGGERS IN MY HEART, WAGE WAR.The re-issue of FLOW RIVER OF MY SOUL (1994) has the multiple versions of "Motherland" and "Fall." This is by far my favorite SGT material, as it sounds very much like a Delerium or Intermix album. Not surprisingly, Jacqui Hunt was recruited by the boys from Delerium a few years later to sing on the Karma album, putting her in good company with the lovely Sarah McLachlan.All in all, some of the best music on the planet. Highly recommended."
