CD ReviewsEuropean Release of Susan Across the Ocean 06/16/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "The Silos Diablo is not the latest effort from the NY based band, but instead is the European Release of Susan Across the Ocean (Already available in the US). Diablo features several great originals from the band as well as can't miss covers of both Jonathan Richman and Victoria Willams. Standout tracks include the incredibly personal Susan Across the Ocean and the foot-stomping fun of Take Some Drugs and Drive Around. Many of the songs included on this CD have become staples of The Silos infamous live shows and to the credit of the band, that live energy shines through on this disc. The production is clean but has that edge that is so often lacking in today's music. A must buy for any fan of well-written rock."
