"one song everybody seems to overlook is the phenomenal "i'm sorry". this by far is the best and most beautiful song silk have ever done. this song alone is worth the price of the cd. it will make a grown man cry.this album is excellent. the highlights are "i didn't mean to," "i'm sorry," "ebony eyes", "treated like a lady," "don't go" and the intro "welcome 2 the love session". "nursery rhymes" is cool.one thing about this album which makes it stand out from the other silk albums is how the harmonies have been taken to the next level. they always had fantastic harmonies on every album...but on this one there are walls of sound and walls of voices! in this sense love session is the best album silk have done!what can i say...silk are the best. if you are an r n b fan get all their albums...especially "tonight" from 1999. you need this one though because "i'm sorry" is the best song ever!"

"This cd is absolutely great. Pretty much every track on the CD is good...I noticed some of the other reviews praised the songs but for some reason said that "Nursery Rhymes" was not so great...I felt that song was very very good, they found a way 2 make otherwise corny child songs sound Sexy and Lucious and perfect for 1 on 1 time with your lady. If you are a true R&B fan you WILL purchase this CD its a perfect investment."

Silk - Love Session

"This album isn't their best. Producers Link and Delite handle most of the songs and some of them sound like their other produced hits ("I Didn't Mean To" sounds like Gerald Levert's "Nothin to Somethin", with the "Bennie and the Jets" piano riff and all). The good news, though, is that this time, all five members get ample time to sing instead of just Lil' G and Jon-Jon. The only really good songs are "I'm Sorry" (which could have used some more original lyrics), "Nursery Rhymes" and the remake of "Ebony Eyes". Actually, that version outdoes the Smokey Robinson/Rick James original! Unfortunately, Silk got dropped from their label because this album went wood and Lil' G went solo. Their new album, Silktime, is not worth checking at all so if you want some vintage Silk, their Best of Silk compilation should satisfy you instead."
