"The last 2 years, house lovers from the more sublime side experienced a vast change from jazzy flavored tracks to more tech-oriented but always late-night sounds. Silicone Soul must be one of the first groups to welcome this trend releasing this monumental album. Right On 4 The Darkness, Chic-O-Laa and I Need An Angel in not only the best tunes from this album, but among the brightest deep house sounds heard on 2000."

"A very beautiful thing is happening out Glasgow. Something deep and bouncy. A deep house movement is going on. From Mateo & Matos with their nice offering, The Different Shades Of Mateo & Matos to this new album from a group called Silicone Soul. This album is solid from head to toe, offering a full serving of deep soulful house and throwing in some downtempo tracks for appetizers. It tosses strong house grooves at you track after track, supported by catchy bass lines. Every track seems to have fully fleshed out moods, with a seamless blend of textures. The album peaks with tracks like "This Is The Sound!" which gives you deep house afro-Caribbean style and the infectious "Have You Seen My Baby?" a deep groove that is sure to do damage in clubs and homes alike. It's a stone cold floor killer. Vibe off the distorted vocals of "The Answer", one of the few tracks you'll hear where the vocals actually add to the music, not distract. I won't forget the hypnotic jazz of "Sundance", which sounds like your running through the night on some southern beach somewhere. The last track, "Right On 4 Tha Darkness", is an orchestrated epic masterpiece, that massages the pleasure zone of your cerebellum with a style that will definitely remind you of Faze Action.Craig Morrison and Graeme Readie deserve respect for putting out a truly superbalbum. They have a definite ear for what is happening in house, and maybe this offering will turn some attention to Glasgow and it's underground scene."
