Long Island's Silent Fate is the culmination of many good things coming to an end so that one great thing can have a new beginning. The band was formed in 2001 and their self-titled debut was received well by an enthusiastic public, but alas it was not meant to be. Artistic differences began to pull the members in other directions and ultimately the band was dissolved. In 2007, Silent Fate reformed to record The Autumn Machine, their first release in 5 years. The hiatus proved most valuable for the band. A new line-up and heavier material earned the album great acclaim from reviewers and a recording contract from MEI Records. Now Silent Fate have returned once again, wielding their blackest album to date ... Burned, Buried & Forgotten.
