"the silencers are an excellent band, as good [or even better] as U2 and i don't understand why they do not get the success they deserve. seeing them playing live is a treat, and i have never been disappointed by any cd they ever released. my all time favorite remains 'dance to the holy man', this album is a jewel. i wish it would be easier to find their cds here in the US."

"Yes everybody this is a great album! I've been following the Silencers for over 10 years and if you think this deserves 5 stars you should rush out and buy "Blues For Buddha" ! There aren't enough stars in the Universe for this. My outstanding track is Razor Blades of Love"
BRILLIANT Scottish pop album!

"I'll make this short and sweet. This is one of the best intelligent guitar pop/rock albums I've ever heard - EVERY song is a winner. This is what it would have been like if the Beatles had been in Scotland, starting out in the mid-90s.
If you think you'd like the fine pop crafting of Aimee Mann (circa "Whatever" and "Everything's Different Now") by way of Glasgow, then GET THIS ALBUM!
Chiming Rickenbacher guitars, loud VOX amps, brilliant lyrics & harmonies, interesting arrangements, choruses & even verses that are so catchy they'll be in your head for WEEKS! Powerful, emotional & honest.
This is one of my all time favorite TOP 10 ALBUMS OF ALL TIME."

"What can I say? I bought this album when it first came out, and it is still one of my all time greats. My personal favourite tracts are "Cellar of Dreams" and "Life Can be Fatal", however even this does not compare to the live experience. Catch them if you can!"
