CD ReviewsGO BEEZ GO! 05/24/1999 (4 out of 5 stars) "I had to order it from Brian himself at Rx Remady to get it, but the wait was worth it...Starla and Julio set each other off with pounding noise-punk rythms punctuated by shouting, grunted and squealed lyrics that are anything BUT another clone of Sleater-Kinney. Static soothes the ears as the music sends your mind crawling under the table for sympathy...the duo also makes their noise unique by playing a wide variety of instruments in their work, including clarinet and what sounds like a sample from "THX 1138". If you are a fan of sonic Youth and/or old school riot grrrl rage, the Beez are a perfect solution for you! Brian's a real nice guy too (he owns the record company that put out "on the One") so be sure to send him a letter sometime..."
