CD ReviewsA Step Into My Own Soul Lorien E Mougey | usa | 12/12/1999 (5 out of 5 stars) "Incredible sound offering from Shrug. Different from their first album, Roses has a funky bass line that lures me in. Lyrics are catchy, but not typical, with some humor for flavor. Each song has its own value, but Scratch has by far captured my soul the most. A song about a love gone wrong that we can all relate to. My four and seven year old sons were singing it in the bath. This album is great, and has the power to grow even more onto the listener's subconscious mind. I listened to it four times in a row during a traffic jam and came out of it with a smile. Thank you, Tod, Adam, and Dan."
