"This is probably a disc only for Shape of Despair fans, but what a disc it is! Don't be put off by the fact that these are demo/promo recordings. Shape of Despairs brilliant quality is still there, revealed in some outstanding cuts of familiar titles, from their first three discs, with a more atmospheric 'instrumental' leaning with the vocals less prominant. Overall a highly recommended disc for admirers of this outstanding doom band as we wait for a new album beyond 2008. Seven tracks @ 63 minutes and 44 seconds"

"Description: cross My Dying Bride with Lycia. Shake hard. The lovely, slightly low-fi slab landing on your doorstep is this lovely album. Add elements of shoegaze, and a hint of flute right out of early Genesis, and a bit of monotone drone from a David Lynch soundtrack, plus some lovely female pseudo-choral music... you've got me.
Repetitive? Somewhat. The key with this, as with Lycia, is to set you down in a dark and moody groove, and expand on the theme. Synth wash and orchestrations only add tension and sheen to the proceedings. Not a perfect album, but I'm enjoying the hell out of it right now."
