The soundtrack of americana.

"Shane Jackman's voice and musical style conjures up visions of deep roots in local settings. His poetry set to music has been a soundtrack on my CD player while traveling in the desert southwest. Each song is a rich description of times in America. From the poignant, "Cactus and Crosses", the frustration of "Tribal Line", the truth of "Potter's Field", and the sheer heartfeltness of the title track, Jackman paints a wonderful collection of songs. His smooth acoustic delivery and relaxing vocal style make this a wonderful album. My only regret is that this seems to be his only work available on CD. As an amateur guitarist, and afficienado of the great American southwest, I really appreciate Shane's music--and I KNOW you will too!!!"
