Born out of Southern Ontario in a region amidst of hardcore, metal and punk bands, Defence Mechanism bangs to the beat of a different drummer. This electronic/industrial band takes its love for the old and brings it back into a new age. Heavily influenced by the first age of industrial music, Defence Mechanism continually searches out for new ways to make edgier and aggressive music without having to sacrifice its experimental or electronic influences.

With each member having over 10 years musical experience, Defence Mechanism has treaded the water of the organic and now dives headfirst into the realm of the synthetic fusing both into a conglomerate of insanity, noise and rhythm. In the age of pre programming, Defence Mechanism shines with its live show fusing all the elements of its recorded material with the added freedom of being spontaneous and chaotic making it a sight not to be missed.
